I Travel for Invaluable Experiences
Alyssa: For me there are so many different reasons to travel.
Alyssa: Not only to see different landscapes and nature and different animals, but to learn about cultures and to meet new people.
Alyssa: Um, for me, one of the most interesting things about traveling and meeting people is to see how different cultures have made us different but how at the same time there are so many similarities between people all over the world.
Alyssa: So, even though traveling is usually pretty expensive, I think it’s hard to put a price on the experiences that you have while traveling.
Alyssa: And most people, or, a lot of people travel for relaxation and comfort, but I would definitely travel to an extreme climate like Norway or Antarctica just to see some of the unique natural wonders that they have.
Alyssa: Like, spending a night under the northern lights would be much more rewarding than spending a week relaxing on the beach.
Alyssa: And, for me, I think since the world is constantly changing, you never know if a place that you visit will look the same the next time you go.
Alyssa: So, those are some of the reasons why I love to travel.
Vocabulary:

natural wonders – beautiful and amazing places or sights that were created by nature, not by humans, “The Grand Canyon is one of the most famous natural wonders in the world.”
northern lights – bright patterns of colored lights that sometimes appear in the night sky in very cold northern countries, “We traveled to Canada in the winter to watch the northern lights dance across the sky.”
rewarding – giving you a happy, satisfied, or proud feeling because you did something good or useful, “Teaching children how to read is a very rewarding job.”
constantly – happening all the time or repeating without stopping, “The world is constantly changing as new technologies are invented every day.”
