Using AI at work
As a software developer, I use AI almost every day to help me with debugging and writing snippets of code. It’s incredibly time-saving—what used to take me half a day of trial and error can now be done in a matter of minutes. The AI also helps me optimize existing code, suggesting more efficient solutions that I might not have thought of on my own.
Of course, there are challenges. Sometimes the AI generates code that looks plausible but contains subtle flaws, which means I still need to review everything with a critical eye. It has also made me reflect on a deeper anxiety: the fear that one day my role might be replaced by AI altogether. For now, though, I see it as a collaborative tool—one that enhances my abilities rather than threatens them. The real value still lies in human judgment and creativity.
