My dream home

I’ve moved around a lot in the last ten years—tiny flats, shared houses, even a converted garage once—but I’ve never really felt settled. So lately I’ve been thinking more seriously about what my dream home would actually look like.

It’s not about square footage or some luxury penthouse. Honestly, I’d love a modest, light-filled house with a bit of character. Something with original hardwood floors, high ceilings, and maybe even a bay window where I could curl up and read. I picture built-in bookshelves, a fireplace that actually works, and a kitchen that opens onto a little garden. Not perfectly manicured, just wild enough to feel alive.

Location matters too. I want it to be tucked into a quiet neighborhood—somewhere walkable, with cafés, a good bakery, and the kind of place where the postman knows your name. I don’t need a home that looks like it came out of a catalogue. I want it to feel lived-in, warm, and a bit imperfect.

More than anything, I want space that reflects me—not just the person I am now, but who I’m becoming.
