How My Taste in Music Has Changed

When I was a teenager, my favorite bands were Deftones and Tool — heavy, intense, and full of energy. I remember spending hours listening to their albums, memorizing lyrics, and getting completely lost in the sound. Back then, my music taste was very focused on alternative and metal, and I loved the raw power of it.

As I grew older, my taste expanded a lot. I started exploring jazz, indie, electronic, and even some folk music. Part of it came from traveling, meeting new people, and being exposed to different cultures and sounds. I still have a soft spot for my teenage favorites, but now my playlist is much more eclectic, mixing genres in ways I never would have imagined before.

It’s fascinating how music evolves with you — what once defined your teen years becomes just one part of a much richer soundtrack of life.
