Unreliable tech, moaning colleagues, pointless meetings and coworkers who eat too loudly are some of the most annoying aspects of modern office life, according to new research.

Here are UK office workers’ top ten most annoying bugbears:

  4. workplace too cold – or too hot
  5. colleagues moaning
  6. coworkers eating loudly at desk
  7. pointless meetings
  8. coworkers making you look bad
  9. colleagues interrupting you
  10. people calling in sick (when you suspect they’re fine)
