Our Team Values
TRUST
The best teams are built on trust. We trust that each individual is innately motivated to do what is best for the team. We have strong work processes in place and each individual is trusted to follow the processes.
Trust leads to partnership, which in turn leads to innovation and performance.
OPEN COMMUNICATION
Open communication is about being transparent about the motivation behind why you want to do something. It means having an honest dialogue about how a decision will benefit you, the team, your end customers, and discussing the various ways to achieve it.
We speak up when we don’t agree, and when we disagree, we always offer a counterproposal.
PRAGMATISM
We find an effective way to solve a problem within reasonable constraints and we know the limitations of a solution.
We ask ourselves: “Does the platform provide the answer?” We don’t reinvent the wheel — instead, we prefer to use well-maintained libraries rather than creating them in-house.
Vocabulary:

reasonable constraints – limits on time, money, or rules that are fair and make sense, “We finished the project on time despite some reasonable constraints.”
reinvent the wheel – to waste time making something that someone else has already made well, “Don’t reinvent the wheel; just use the recipe that we already have.”
