What do your 1-1 coaching course packages include?

Consider me as your personal VIP English language coach. Once you sign up for my services, you get full access to a booking calendar, allowing you to book private lessons with me whenever you like.

My classes follow the 80-20 rule, where 80% of the class time is spent on you speaking, and 20% of the time is spent receiving feedback from me.

Detailed, personalized feedback is sent to you after every single session. This helps you get results in the fastest time possible!

What makes you different from other English language coaches?

The most common complains keep getting from my students over the past 15 years, is that they don’t receive enough feedback from teachers during their classes. After all, how can you improve your English when you don’t know when you have made a mistake?

Giving useful feedback is at the heart of my teaching philosophy. That’s why I chose to name my business “Speak English Get Feedback”!

During our class I will make sure you have plenty of time to speak and build your confidence communicating in English, but I will also make time during our class for giving you feedback and corrections.

After every class you receive personalized feedback that includes a summary of our class, as well as feedback on your errors with suggestions on where to improve and suggested practice activities.

What topics do we discuss in class?

Whatever you want or need! Each 1-1 lesson is personalized according to your needs and interests; whether it be discussing the impact of artificial intelligence on the workplace, preparing for a job interview for you dream job, or delivering an important presentation.

How do the 1-1 speaking course packages work?

The 1-1 Course packages are designed for busy working professionals who want a flexible, self-paced solution for learning English.

Once you purchase a course package, you will be sent an email within 24 hours with a link to a calendar where you can instantly start booking 1-1 classes with me.

Which package should I book?

I recommend all potential new students book a FREE consultation with me first to discuss your learning needs and which course would be best for your needs.

When can I book a class?

Within 24 hours after purchasing a class package, you will receive a personalized email with information about your class package and how to book classes.

This email will also include a link to my appointment schedule, so you can start booking classes immediately.

When you book a class you will automatically receive a link to join the class on Google Meet. Use this link to join the class.

Our first class:

You will be sent a link to complete the Class Registration Form in an email after purchasing a class or class package. During our first class we will discuss the information you completed in the Class Registration Form, including your goals and objectives for learning English. If you have not completed the Class Registration Form, we will complete it together in the first class.

The objective of the first class is to discuss your primary learning goals, and what topics you would like to discuss in classes. 

Booking recommendations:

🕙 Create a weekly routine by taking your 1-1 class at the same time each week.

🎓 Try to attend a minimum of 1 class a week. Students who improve the quickest dedicate a minimum of 1 hour of 1-1 speaking practice a week. Consistency is what gets results!

⏰ Try to schedule classes when you are usually free and won’t be interrupted/disturbed to avoid last-minute cancellations!

1-1 teaching hours:

Currently my available teaching hours for 1-1 classes are:

9am – 11:00am EST Tuesday – Friday

4:30pm – 5:30pm EST Tuesday – Thursday

My time zone: Eastern Standard Time (Toronto, New York)

I do my best to accommodate my students. If these times don’t work with your schedule, I will make another time to accommodate you.

Tips to get the most from your classes:

💻 Attend classes on a laptop or computer for the best experience. If this is not possible, a mobile phone is ok to.

🎓 Attend classes regularly: Consistency is key to improvement!

📝 Take notes during the class for important tips.

🤓 Read and revise your class feedback regularly

📚 Practice your English every day (even if it’s just 10 minutes!)

😄 Bring a positive attitude to class

Cancellation policy:

I understand that my clients have busy lives, and often need to cancel classes at short notice.

I offer all students a fair flexible cancellation policy, which includes free cancellations for all 1-1 Speaking courses:

Fluency Course:

You are able to cancel and reschedule classes as often as you like, provided you give me a minimum of 12 hours notice.

After you have used your free cancellations, you will be charged the full price for the class if you cancel less than 12 hours before it starts.

I understand that emergencies happen, so in the case of sudden illness or any other emergency I will not charge any cancellation fee.
